Stapleford Park Weddings:
Stapleford Park is a Grade 1 listed luxury country house hotel and wedding venue near to Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. It is a stunning and prestigious venue with picturesque venues, and is a dream wedding venue for couples wanting that touch of classic glamour along with a relaxed atmosphere. The historic house, orangery, and stunning grounds offer a truly magical location for a Leicestershire wedding, and it was a delight to photograph Sacha and Harvey’s wedding there in September!
Sacha and Harvey:
“We are totally chalk and cheese with 3 different ethnicities between us but somehow it just works!” Sacha explains.
“A perfect Saturday is a meal out or a relaxed night in. We share a love for our dog Prince, tattoos and Ed Sheeran! We want our wedding day to run as smoothly as possible. It was the exclusive use, along with with onsite bedrooms for our out of town guests, and the picturesque views all around, that sold Stapleford Park to us.”
Their Wedding Day:
Driving up to Stapleford Park on a sunny September day I could see EXACTLY why Sacha and Harvey chose to hold their special day here. To say I was blown away by its beauty is an understatement – It was just stunning and I couldn’t be more excited for the day ahead! A photographers dream!
Sacha was busy getting ready with her sister Sam, Mum, friend, and her daughters and niece in Stapleford Park’s main bedroom suite.
The wedding ceremony took place in the Orangery at Stapleford. The ceremony area was styled by Sacha’s sister Samantha (who is event stylist Eventfully Yours) with rose chiffon and a flower arch of white flowers. the sun was streaming though the glass ceiling and everything looked perfect! The ceremony began with all the little flower girls and page boys walking perfectly in – you could tell they had been practicing! It was a truly moving ceremony, full of giggles and excited hand squeezes, and perfectly finished by a blessing from Sacha’s pastor.
After the ceremony, the couple came out to a snowstorm of confetti and got completely and utterly covered! We went to the gardens for drinks and canapés before Sacha and Harvey sneaked away for their portrait photos, which is such a great time for the newly married couple to have some time to let it all sink in. Then the couple mingled with their guests, which was the perfect time for me to get lots of wonderful candid photos and details of the rooms. The weather was all sunshine and blue skies, it was a beautiful day!
Everyone was then called in for the wedding breakfast, which was a beautiful prepared 3 course meal by Stapleford Park’s fab team. They had speeches during the dessert course, which were really touching, especially the speeches given by Sacha’s children Noel and Seren who were welcoming Harvey into their family!
After the meal was finished, they cut the cake, and the party kicked off. Sam had organised for the De Montfort University Gospel Choir to come and sing for the couple and their guests. I can honestly say I have never experienced anything like it – their voices were incredible!
Congratulations again Mr and Mrs Webb! You were awesome and it was a joy to photograph your very special wedding day for you!
